Dont get me wrong, I love the vids. But I am noticing a growing trend of the Episodes.

More cussing, more bites, more "horseplay"

I just cant see that more of these things are HELPING this hobby.

Like I said, I do really enjoy them, but from someone that doesnt have 40 snakes...it might be kinda a determent no?

    just sayin.

Lateralization Side Dominance- very cool topic.
So, which side was more prevalent; left or right?
Think it's the opposite result in the Southern Hemisphere?
Thanks for making me think and notice more about my snakes

Re: SnakeBytesTV-What IS This Show About???

    Patrick,
I understand your concern and it's a line that I'm always trying to skirt. There will be shows that we fall on ether side of the line. In the last couple of weeks there was hardly any cursing at all now this week there was a lot. I tell my crew to act like theirselves and have fun. I want it to be as much like it really s here on a daily basis. We bleep out the cursing so it's not too offensive. As for the bites, I was really on the fence about it? You have to remember that in my opinion it's better to have 200,000 people view and upset a few people then to have a couple hundred views and not upset anyone. Getting the views we do gives us the chance to pursuade people to see how cool our hobby is, no doubt that some will be turned of too, but if the vast majorty like what they see and decide to get into snakes because of it (I get e-mails everyday from people that get their first snake because they started watching our show) then it's a win for our hobby. I'm sure that not everyone wll share my view on this. We have to find a place where we can get the views to expand our hobby and the awareness of our hobby and at the same time not harm it. Remember one thing, I don't get anything out of the show except to expand our hobby. The cost come out of my pocket. If we don't reach a big audience I wouldn't be able to justify the growing cost to produce the show. I hope you see my point, I certainly see yours. Thanks understanding and for liking the show.
