    Re: Strange Feeding Question.

I managed to look her over when I first got her back home. She was very opposed to this, but mites were a huge concern for me because I have other reptiles in the house. I did notice a small nick on her side, it was mostly healed and I'm not worried about infection. I AM worried its an injury from a live feeding, I only feed frozen/thawed... She seems to have settled a bit since yesterday, still very defensive (the bottle I use to mist her tank is now the enemy!!). I have most of her tank covered with dark cloth and have her on a set 12 hour day cycle. I think she will come around eventually

That (being fed live) could definitely contribute to her current attitude. Many snakes stay feistier when fed live, & with good reason, but if only fed live once, I'd assume it was just all the sudden changes that has her freaked out.

There are more low-lifes than you think...some, it's envy- they want the animal for themselves...but most I think are just trying to flip (sell) them.
