    Arroyo pastel?

Not sure what genes are in this girl. She was sold to me awhile ago as an arroyo pastel. Not super familiar with the arroyo gene though.

I'm not really up to date on BP genes and I've never heard of arroyo. But from a quick look your BP doesn't really match up to pictures I saw of arroyo. My first thought was enchi, I'm not really seeing pastel in it. I'm sure someone who actually knows what they are talking about will be around soon to point you in the right direction.

    Re: Arroyo pastel?

I'm not seeing arroyo in that girl but she could be a really low expression since she looks different than a regular pastel does (pattern wise) but I don't see any stripes along the dorsal like you typically see on them. Do you have any other pics of her that show more of her sides stretched out?

I just started working with arroyo and its a bit tricky to ID because its so subtle and the way it interacts with some genes isnt really how you would expect it, if that makes sense lol

I paired my Mojave Arroyo to my OD Fire YB and got some crazy looking babies, I know for sure one is an arroyo YB. But there's a couple clutchmates that look arroyo too.

Best way to prove yours out would be to put her with an arroyo male and see if you get a Rio.

Here are pics of the babies I made this season.

    Those are some beautiful babies.
I'll have to do that. She's only 180g right now. So I've got a few years.

Did you get your girl from a big breeder? I only know of a handful of breeders that work with arroyo heavily.

Thank you my favorite is the brightest one, she keeps getting brighter after every shed too.

He's a breeder but I don't think he produced her.

    Wow. She's stunning.

I just looked at morph market and it doesn’t look like an arroyo to me but I don’t know some of these newer morphs at all
