    Boo..no football :(

Well...there isn't really any football for 6 months now, which sucks, but I guess there is NSD & spring practice to look forward to.

I just wanna say 2 things.

1.Even though I dislike them passionately, the Steelers played a pretty good game last night. Their D really didn't impress me as much as their O shocked me. Santonio Holmes played like a man and made a great catch that saved their team.

Just a side note, but did anybody see James Harrison punch that guy in the throat on that punt before the Cards got a safety...IMHO should have been an ejection.

    2. The University of South Carolina will go 8-5 this year. We will lose to UF, Bama, Clemson, and 2 other schools I haven't decided on, but that is my prediction.

Ya....right now you just start scouting guys for your team at the combine, and then there is the NFL draft. A bit slower but there is usually something to talk about.

I agree with the Steelers. I am not a huge fan...BUT they are just a flat out good football team. They have a good coach and they do what then need, when they need to.

And yes...that James Harrison should be embarrassed. Do you honestly think no one would see you do that during the biggest game of the year? Ya...pretty sad IMO also.

I for one thought the game was over by the 4th. Cards were expected to throw up 13 points in one quarter when they had only managed to score 7 points in the first 3 quarters? I thought it was unlikely, but I was proven wrong. FITZGERALD is a freak of nature! That superbowl went from being another blowout...to a great football game that came down to the final seconds. A good game.

Commercial werent the greatest too IMO.

I think the play of the game was the interception returned for a touchdown.

It was a 14 point swing. Instead of AZ putting 7 on the board the Steelers made the longest Superbowl play in history and they put seven on the board.

If it wasnt for that play the Cardinals would be Superbowl Champs. IMO the Steelers defense won the game.

It was a great game right to the end

    This.

...I feel like it took him forever to run the length of the field. And nobody could tackle him!! I think every cardinal on the field had an opportunity.

OH...and as usual...some questionable calls by the refs...

    DITTO!
Definitely a momentum changing play. Those string of personal fouls did not help either.
A few things need to happen to get this team back for next season. Still good to be in AZ though . . . look forward to next season.

(Still waiting for a BILLS vs. Cardinals Super Bowl!)

Yea...I'll agree that was the play of the game for sure, but they didn't really show that killer instinct, in the 4th with a 13 pt. lead, that they're praised so highly on.

I've never really had a favorite NFL team, but I think over this past year that I've started pulling for the Falcons more than any team since RM84 was with the Vikings. Slowly, I am becoming a Falcons fan, and I'm not really sure how I feel about that.
