It looks like you might have enjoyed that first handling session a bit more than Auryn, but least that first week of acclimation is over. Congrats again on that cutie. I like the 'bite marks'.

Yeah--I'm glad he's past that first week, too. Now we can just settle into life together He still hasn't figured out hides yet, but he loves to live under his KRAFT paper... I hope his little "vampire bite" sticks around--it's really cute.

Awww Kim he's a cutie! Glad to hear he handled the handling reasonably well. Can't wait to see him as an adult, he's got some lovely markings and blushing going on.

Isn't he, though? I'm so proud of him. I don't think he's 100% sure about me yet, but in time I'm sure he'll adjust to his "godzilla" (as Kev puts it in his book) I can't wait to see him all grown up, either! But I hope he doesn't grow too fast...

Well, he's the first BP I've ever owned, so I guess only time will tell. Right now, I'm not in the right living situation to be breeding anything Once I've graduated from college, have a steady job and a larger living space, maybe I could consider bringing more animals into my collection and (if I find myself so inclided) breeding them.

Do it! You know you want to! I'm so glad I decided on a Lemon Pastel as my first snake---Auryn's just a doll. Spiders are beautiful, too though. Maybe you should get one of each!

Knowing me, I probably will! LOL I've always wanted a Pied, but they're quite a bit out of my price range still....
