    Antaresia Enrichment

Well, I've ended up with another Children's Python - not my intent, but his original owner was unable to care for him. He's a typical Antaresia - just a delightful little snake, so I'm glad I have him.

That means I have four 'Ants' now, which means I also need to find ways to accommodate their charming, active, curious natures. These little guys enjoy being out of their enclosures. They want to climb. They want to investigate. They want to explore. So...I present to you the 'itty bitty python jungle gym'. It's masterfully crafted (haha) from a plastic clothes-drying rack I got at Target and covered with fake vines. I'm also adding a couple of those little lizard hammocks and wrapping twine around parts of it so that the little guys have fewer smooth surfaces to manage.

They do well on smaller activity stations, so I am hoping/expecting they will enjoy this larger one.

Who says enrichment has to be complicated?!

Just make sure there's no way they can collapse it...my "ant" is pretty strong...
