Good advice. Only thing I would add is to minimize handling until the new addition is eating regularly.

Great tips! I feel that if you are feeding f/t, then body temperature can be an important factor too. I get more interest and a stronger feeding response if i heat the prey up to 90+ degrees. For the BPs that already have a strong feeding response, the temperature doesn't matter much, but i find that it helps with the more finicky ones.
