    rack humidity problem

    figured it get more trafic here, my i have a 4 tub iris 70 rack, all place accupied except top tub, but the second tub holds my pine snake and its always the most humid, they have no holes in them, but my bullsnake and corn, are fine, the temps go between 83-86, i have dollar store waterdishes casue the wrap around the crock ones and make messes. but yea, only my pine has the most humid tub, could it be somthing with snake, i know columbrids are not suppose to have hugh humidty, but i end up whipping condisnation of his cage once a day.

    i used to have the same problems, i switched to paper towels as bedding, then i got a ceramic 4" circumference bowl [[$1 at the dollar tree]] and that made all the difference, it sometimes goest to 75 and then i have a little ceramic heater and i put it on low and ir brings it waayyy back down again to around 62... ake sure you have LOTS of holes in the tub

    I have those dog dishes. I guess I need the heater. It hard to belive the humidity. I have 2 beardies and a water dragon. That's 3 mvbs and 100 watt Che on all day . Also are you saying the holes will reduce humidity

    Just put some holes in the tub and that will lower the humidity.

    What Kaorte said. More holes = less humidity. Less holes, well you get the picture.
