First home! Excited beyond belief

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! Right now my wife and I are looking at a 3BR 2BA home, and if we can get it we are going to sell the one we are in now which is 2br 1Ba. One of the bedrooms will be a herp room, one will be a music room, as we are both into music also!!!!
But it is really nice, has a family room, fireplace, and lots of good stuff!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I bought my first house a year ago, and have been working non-stop to try and have it finished and landscaped, etc.... I'm almost done! Going from living in an apartment and having annual inspections where I would cover my old Vision racks with fabric and then lean surfboards on them, hang wetsuits, hang paintball guns, throw extra bike parts, have some apehangars jutting out of one of the racks, etc... Tried to make the second bedroom look like a storage room, which bugged the hell out of me since I am a neat freak! Instead of covering racks, now I tore down a wall and made one big snake room! I love owning!
As far as coming off as bragging... Buying a house has to be the one of the most, if not the most stressful/exciting purchase in your life. You cant help be excited and want to share! If that is too much for others to handle, then that is on them!

Wow!!! Congrats! That's a really nice first home! I was overwhelmed with excitement when we got our house too so I totally understand your "bragging!"

Congrats, my wife and I closed on our first home a little over a week ago and it felt amazing. We've painted, ripped up tile, put down new tile, and more already. It really does feel awesome. Fixing things and such on our rental (to keep the landlord from coming in and seeing all of my snakes) never felt anywhere near as rewarding as fixing up my own home does. Congrats again and I hope you enjoy home ownership.
