    SC vs. Ole Miss

    Anybody watch it?

That was by far the most fun game I have ever attended. The entire student section was live the entire game, I can't even talk anymore.

Our D carried us, which is weird because the last 2 games they've kind of struggled, but tonight they manned up and kept us in the ball game when our QB had some bruised ribs that limited him.

I didn't get to watch it, just goes to show rankings mean nothing, anyone can lose anytime. Congrats to SC!

I was hoping they would beat Ole Miss. That moves LSU up, which I really don't like LSU despite me living in La.

LOL. Ole Miss really isn't that great of a team, they're average, maybe a bit above average. I think whoever did the rankings did a bad job.

I.E. They didn't have Miami in the top 25, which was obviously a big mistake.

LSU isn't that good this year, they struggled with 2 of their games, and I think they will end up with 3-4 loses this year.

For the most part I think they don't put into consideration the conf. that teams play in.

...cool. There are a couple I don't agree on.

USC just lost to an unranked conference opponent for like the 3rd year in a row. They are also not very healthy at their QB position. They have some good young QB's...but they can't stay healthy. They would be top 15 for me.

Oklahoma is NOT the same team without Sam Bradford. Enough said.

California would be closer to #10 then they would #1. I saw their game in person last weekend against unranked Minnesota. They struggled for 3.5 quarters.

And of course Florida State is NOT top 10. But I understand why you put them there. Kansas would break the top 10 before FSU does.

I wasn't aiming for that exact order. I was just stating my top 10. Oklahoma is a top 10, or was with the Sam Bradford, which is why I posted them.

USC is struggling at the QB position but overall they are better then some of the other teams contending. California was just in the top 10, wasn't aiming for them to be close to #1.

Florida State will always be a top 10 team, one thing they always lack every year is a QB. Sometimes a good RB also. It's been almost 10 years if not longer since they have had a RB rush for 1000+ yards.

ohio state is not a top 10 team this year... sorry. they just aren't. they will have probably 3 losses before the season's out. penn state has a fantastic team this year, i would not be surprised to see them go undefeated... lsu and texas are overrated... again.

back to the original post - very entertaining game! was very happy to see the underdog win.
