Official Week 2 BP.net Fantasy Thread...

Anyone as excited about week two as I am?? I feel like I chose all the right guys last week... my guys just aren't that good.

My big decision - Cassel or Stafford? Cassel is playing against the perrenially awesome (insert sarcasm) pass defense of the Raiders.... Stafford will be looking for redemption against the Vikings. Love Stafford, but I'm thinking Cassel.... although, maybe he'll be too hurt to be effective?

Cassell isnt that great. Go with Stafford. I see him throwing for at least 2 tds.

Your QB's are weak. Anything in the free agent pool?

Flacco is a good pickup if there.

Jason Campbell is a great option for this weekend.

If you're not planning on picking anyone up, I would go with Cassell (if he plays, keep an eye on the pregame shows on Sunday). Stafford has a tough game against Minnesota. I would take N4S' recommendation and pick up Jason Campbell (he's available). He's got St. Louis at home and should have a good game.

I'm staring at another tough week against a tough opponent in MXRider42. I'm gonna have to do some creative reshuffling of my players if I'm to stand a chance against Trey.

Fantasy Football is soooo fun! It makes pretty much every NFL game interesting!

I would go with Cassel against the Raiders. It is the Chiefs home opener under a new regime and Arrowhead will be LOUD for this game being a divisional game.

Also...I wouldn't start a rookie QB against the Minnesota Defense. The Williams wall and Jarred Allen are going to pick the lions offensive line apart.

***Can someone do me a favor a post how my team does on Sunday afternoon. I believe all my players are playing at noon and should be done at 3 central. I am going to be at the Chiefs game and dont remember my login info for espn (I have it saved on my computer). But I will be able to check this site. Thanks guys and good luck to everyone!

Never.. Cassel isn't good at all, to me not even decent, and Stafford needs a year or 2 to become adjusted.

What are you basing that off of?

Last year he threw for almost 4000 Yards. 21 TD's and 11 int's.

Are you going off of 2 preseason games?

BTW...Eli's fantasy points have dropped consistently over the past 3 years. They have a solid running game. Who would he throw to this year? They let go of their receivers.

IMO, Eli is not much better than Cassel. Cassel actually had more fantasy points than Eli last year. Cassel also plays in a much weaker division than Eli. For instance...Cassel is going up against the Raiders this week who have the worst record in the combined in the last 5 years (yes even worst than the lions) while the Giants are going up against Dallas.

And you wont even consider Matt Cassel decent?
