I know it is, but its a happy day here in Atlanta, Matt Ryan needed another target to throw too, can't beat the all time leading Tight End for Pro Bowl appearances, bout time we got a General Manager making some moves to improve this team!

This trade doesn't bother me. He has wanted out of KC for the past few seasons. We never won a playoff game with him. Dont get me wrong, I would love for him to have retired a Chief. He has been loyal to us and if he thinks he can win a championship with another team, so be it....

...TG is part of the old chiefs, we are a new team now...Haley made it clear that he only wants players who want to be chiefs. Thanks Tony for the memories but it is time to move on.

As for the 2nd rnd...well it is not much now, but next year it will be nice to go 'oh yeah, we have that extra 2nd rnd pick from TG.'

Yeah, a sad day for sure. Who knows, maybe if the Chiefs become a playoff contender before he retires, he will come back. And when he does retire, it will be in a Chiefs uniform.
