    Re: Has anyone done P90X?

My buddy bought it, and it worked great. He lost a good amount of weight, which was mostly due to the new diet he went on that came with P90X, but also from the workout. He did a couple cycles, and then quit. He couldn’t stay motivated. I personally would not like jumping around in front of my TV, but that's just me. I can see why people like the idea, but I do not see how they are able to stick with it for long. It is too easy to slack while sitting around the house.

I go to the gym at least three to four times a week to get my workout in. I go with a friend, and we keep each other motivated. I also run outside or on an elliptical in the house occasionally.

If you do not have the energy to keep up with the workouts, you need to eat more carbs before the workout; such as, pasta, rice, or oatmeal.
