    Conditions During Importation

Hey!! I was wondering what type of conditions Ball pythons go through while being imported to the US (or another country). What about when they were first starting to be imported? Have the conditions improved? Thanks!!

They have improved ... within the last few years an international organization called IATA ( http://www.iata.org ) came out with strict guidlines for the safe and humane shipment of all animals that all of the airlines as well as CITES follow.

    Hope this helps.

That's good to hear!! Didn't they used to just put a ton of them in a few crates and ship them over? Or what conditions did they use to ship them in?
