    Infrequent hello's

    Hello all,
I appologize for the sporadic visits and long absences. I'm finally back in Chicago and have a steady job and am a few months away from proposing to my long time girlfriend (who loves Icculus by the way and thinks he's awesome and is willing to let me get more herps). I've got a steady job doing events marketing but I do travel a lot and work a lot of long hours since I'm new.

All of this is what has been keeping me busy and away from you all for so long! It's good to be back though and I'm really trying to stop by here at least twice a week (hopefully I'll get back to twice a day status if I can figure out how to work it in). I've missed all of you desperately and hope things are great with everyone and all of those that were undergoing surgeries are doing fantastic and living life to the fullest. Anyway all this said to let you know that these are the best forums on the internet and the members are the best anywhere. Everytime I stop by it's like visiting home.

A note for the kids out there: Life seriously goes INSANE once you graduate college - they don't tell you this but things get nuts.

I hope you can manage to squeeze in a few more minutes a little more often, to visit our humble little corner of the herp world! You've been sorely missed!

Hey! Great to see you around again Jonah! I know how things can get busy with study/work/stuff. Good to hear that you are about to take the next step in life. A hearty congrats man!

I'm so glad you stuck around man - I vanished shortly after the last time we talked! Any herps in the works good sir?

    Re: Infrequent hello's

Just a note since I drift so in and out I shall not be around much this week due to a bachelor party this weekend for one of my best pals. I don't want the mods to think I'm vanishing again.

and on the record for all the moderators I'm really sorry I took off last time. I had a lot of great ideas and no follow through. Just a rough spot but I suppose we all hit them - anyway back on track and better than before.

I gotta get some pics up Icc's just coming out of his winter fast (which was much shorter this year thank goodness) and I have lots to write about adjusting to Chicago winters and keeping levels in a BP tank while trying not to go broke with the heating bill. I've tried a few products as well. Boy oh boy is there so much to do.

but for now, sleep, then wednesday when I'm back in town, coca cola and a keyboard.

Lol, we need to create a lost members section or something Plans are underway for some morphs a couple of years down the line. If everything turns out ok I will be getting into Mojaves, Spiders, Pastel Jungles, Cinnamons and a few others How about yourself? Plan on expanding the collection?

    Re: Infrequent hello's

    Cassandra good to meet you!

Raj - Eh... I need quite some time before expanding too much further. I'm looking more to get an african house snake and a borneo ... borneo will probably be down the road a bit. Need some money and time first.

Mojave's are so GORGEOUS! I love those things. I can't wait to see what you do. How long has Marla been away? She's pretty much the whole reason I got a BP to begin with. What a brilliant woman... but I digress.. man this place is sweet there's all kinds of search options and control panels! Somebody sweat on this one so good job to whoever that was!
