    RBI CB 70 tub options

    Hello,

I tried searching for an answer to this question but could not find one. I bought a CB-70 to house my first breeding project after years of keeping individuals as pets in display cages. I bought this rack for a couple in the 400-600g range about 7-8 months ago. The female (larger one) is doing great on f/t rats. The male has not been eating very well (refuses f/t) and has not been consistent with live food. After continued research I have decided to try a smaller tub to house the male. Even after using several hides a smaller tub might increase his security feelings.

Long story short, is there an alternative tub that will fit within the CB70 rack? A tub that is less wide but still the same height?

    Thanks,

    Brian

In case anybody has this similar issue, I bought a rubbermaid "Clever Store" 17qt. 18.7"x13.3"x5.4". It is a smoke semi transparent finish. It's not perfect sized (height is perfect) in order to fit two tubs per space but it will definitely be better for my smaller shy male that is having an inconsistent feed routine.

I also switch from paper towel substrate to aspen bedding. We shall see.

Much better and now back on regular feeds. What other tubs fit this rack? I'd like a more sturdy tub and straight sides, instead of slanting inwards.
