Quite a few allow them to interact unsupervised but many also don't. That case also involves to predators of usually similar (compared to a beardie) size. That and cats can get away from dogs quickly if they need to. Is your beardie faster than your cats? Does your beardie jump on top of bookshelves when it wants to get away? I'd love to see video of that! How dense can you be?
But since your beardie isn't getting stressed out by being around your cats I assume she told you this right? That or she wrote you a letter? Could you leave a lion alone with a ferret? A polar bear alone with ground hog? You sure could, and they might not get killed, but you won't know it's going to happen until it does and then it's too late. Unless your cats pull you aside to let you know they are going to bite him it could just happen suddenly, not a thing you could do about it. Why are you so intent on risking that?
