    Curious Genetics Question...

I am wondering if being Albino is dominant OR recessive... Can anyone tell me like what traits (such as piebald, pinstripe, spider) are dominant and recessive?

    Thanks so much again!

This is some homework you can easily do on your own. We have a whole morph guide on this website.

Albino is recessive as well as piebald. Pinstripe and spider are dominant. Pastel, Mojave and Lesser are co-dominant.

Also, world of ball pythons. google it. You are welcome

    Hi there,

They will let you know if the trait is Dominant, Co-Dominant, or Recessive.

    Albino and Piebald are recessive.

    Spider and Pinstripe are Dominant.

As others have mentioned, WOBP is a GREAT resource. It has a genetics calculator. Be careful, you will find yourself wasting hours upon hours upon hours searching at morphs, experimenting with the genetics calculator, and generally oogling at all the pretty snakes.

Now it seems you are new so I will answer this question. But in the future, all of the websites that others have said will be your best friends.

In order for you to have an albino, the snake needs 2 copies of the albino gene. A het albino is a snake that carries only 1. You would breed 2 hets together to make an albino.
