Curiosity quote question in regards to feeding???

I've been getting such great responses that I couldn't resist posting one more question
I have a very young ball python that I just adopted about a week ago I've noticed that there is a variety of ways of feeding I've done quite a bit of research in regards to these problematic situations that can come up and I've had success leaving a f/t overnight and I was wondering if other people had success getting there picky eaters to eat this way???

This is a question that's purely in regards to the delivery method nothing more. I do understand the intricacies when it comes to color size so forth.... (thanks)

Yes. Plenty of ppl do this.
What puzzles me is why the bp would not want it when its nice and warm but eat it when its like down to 75 degrees? Thats like waiting for soup to get cold then eating it...

I've has some who prefered this method. I think it has more to do with the snake wanting no movement around it's enclosure for a period of time, than the temp of the rat.
