    doughtnut..nope... snake rack!

well, i have had this rack running for a couple months now so i figured i would share my converted doughnut display i stripped all the wire shelves and glass doors off of it and had to clean it up a bit (it was used in a gas station). summer time i may paint it up or find some decals to cover up the krispy kreme logos...lol

i am running two strips of 11" flexwatt for back heat which is controlled by a dimmer that is mounted on the outside of the rack. take a look at the semi tamper proof covers for the receptacle and for the dimmer! they are outdoor rated in use covers mounted on metal outdoor boxes, all found at the home depot...i figured i would like a nice finished look since it is in our living room.

    hope you enjoy

and this is for the insecure days the snakes might be having...also helps keep the heat in for when i want to save on the gas bill a tad

    thanks for looking, dave

The shade is sweet, dude. I'm surprised there aren't more DIY racks here made out of modified furniture. I saw the one post where he turned an entertainment center into a rack. Why aren't there more nice looking dressers/high boys/bureaus that get DIY'ed into racks? I'd love to see more of those for ideas...

edit: I realize highboy might be a new word for ppl...

and the shade only cost around 5 bucks

i was going to build a rack from scratch. but happened to run into the doughnut case(for freeeee) when remodeling a speedway gas station and thought it would work great as a mini snake room.

This is sick, xbox 360 completes it on the side for your pleasure on their "grumpy" days.
