Here are some great shots of my blood "Goon"

I finally have some good photos of my blood python "Goon"

I was hoping someone could ID his exact species for me, he was a rescue I adopted who was severely emaciated and had a bad RI...
He seems to be doing great now!

Let me know what you guys think and whether or not his weight seems healthy...

    Thanks alot!!!

I don't know much about the various blood species, but I can say that looks to be a healthy weight to me...nice and rounded. Beautiful animal!! Kudos for taking in the rescue and doing such a fine job of it!!

    Thanks for the response guys!

Dont the Brongersmai have a tendency to get a little larger than the other species of blood pythons?

They're generally the largest of the 3 species, yes.

BUT, there are certainly freaks within each species, whether they get large or stay smaller...
