Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
I like them but I think you should replace the snake to a pair of rats. If it was me, I would draw a hand holding 2 or 3 rats by the tail. That way people can remember seeing that icon means rats4you.com
Its entirely up to you tho.

Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
I like parts of Brandon's colored version and parts of the original. I'd use the pictures that include Brandon's coloring and detailing, and the following text from Brandon's version: "Rats 4 You", "-Mice & Rats-", and "Lakeland, Fl". I'd the rest of the text ("Joe & Chris", phone number, "Online Ordering - Paypal", and URL in the original font (and without itallics). That information needs to be extremely easy to read. Itallics, cursive, and fancy fonts will just be distracting on that information. That's what I would do if I were you.
In case the font is different, with "Lakeland, Fl", I'd italicize it but still have it match the font of the important information on the right.

Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
Hi,
I prefer version one with some of the colouring.
Basically because I think the dead rodent is better left off it.

Darn it still looks like a dead rat. It wasnt supposed to be dead. He was supposed to have passed out

Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
I don't like the font of the originals - Brandon did a good job of fixing that.

Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
Well,
I feed F/T so my preconceptions may be showing.
I really meant make it more about the snake and avoid the rodent because of the subconcious mental associations (my pet which I like V's dead smelly, dirty rats that bite and poo ).
As Robin mentioned in another thread it's best to avoid any negative associations with your company - they don't sell coffins by showing pictures of dead people as an extreme example.
So any graphic of a rat should be a positive one (and porobably coloured blue or gold ).
But then I may well be talking out of my hat.

Re: Which Card Do You Like Better?
I agree Derek. I also think a rat logo is more appropiate. You first design was simple and clear which is good. I would think a large happy rat and maybe a smaller snake as opposed to the large snake and small rat. You may sell to people that have monitors, who knows?
