    Any S373 updates?

I got a letter from U.S.A.R.K last friday stating that they had arranged a meeting with Bill Nelson last friday and was wondering if anyone has heared the outcome of that?

    Thanks for viewing.

There have been no amendments to S 373. As it stands, S 373 will ban the import and interstate transport of all pythons of the genus Genera.

The amendment was made to the house version (HR 2811) to only ban the import and interstate transport of burms and african rock pythons. USARK is working very hard to have further changes made to allow the interstate transport of captive bred animals, but we have no news of how that's going at this time.

Hopefully the USARK meeting with Senator Nelson went well. The amendment to HR 2811 might not hold water during ratification if S 383 isn't also amended with similar language.
