    Pythons in the news

To keep up with python stories I've been searching google news every morning for pythons.

    http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&q=python

For the last couple weeks there's usually a round of stories every few days. Most of these stories have a place for comments. It would be great if folks could chime in on various stories and help to educate the public. It's clear that the general public doesn't understand the difference between python species, which is something that we can all address.

There are usually too many stories for any one person to comment on, but maybe if we all worked on posting comments we could show that there is a counter viewpoint to 'kill all the snakes' or 'ban all the snakes'.

Bumping this because there are a lot of new stories today, coinciding with the FWC meeting starting today.
