Wow, already thinking of my next hoggy! I'm such a crazy individual..

Well, looking at the variety of morphs, and knowing how expensive the Hog morphs can get, what morph could I get at the lowest? This November, I'm planning on not getting another BP (was planning on a male Pastel, but I already have a normal male that could be a het for something so I have to prove him out) and getting another Hoggy instead. I'm going nutes over Hogs, and yes I believe I'm a crazy individual.. always wanting something and in this case it's another snake.. I've actually never had a real "morph" if you know what I mean. I have a Mexican Black King, a pair of normal BPs, a Dumeril's boa, Corn snake (maybe a classic corn? don't even know if that's a morph.. but I forgot where I got the classic corn morph from..), and a Western Hog. Don't really see any real "morphs" in there. I've had two albino Corns in the past, and a Pueblan Milk snake, but I want a real morph..

Ok sorry for the small talk lol but anywho what would be a morph of a Hog that I could get at the lowest price. I'm in the $100-$250 range, nothing too expensive. Wondering if I'd get that much money for my bday and the money saved all together.. or more (hopefully :[...). I'm also planning on some thermostats, UTHs, hides, plants, and all the stuff needed to make my snakes live a happy and long life. As stated in an old thread earlier in the year, people have seen albino Hogs for about $150, but normally around $300.

I've never seen albinos at $150, but you should be able to get one at the higher side of your budget. You could also get yourself some hets in that range. Het pairs usually run around $250.

I'm pretty bad with buying snakes, too. Started collecting Hogs in March, and have about 40 now. Lol

Lol nice. If I don't find an albino for a low price, I'll just get a female Western Hog :]

Hoggie morphs are pretty expensive, many are recessive traits and they just haven't been bred in an abundance like morphs in species such as corn snakes.

Nothing wrong with not having morphs. I like the "wildtype" morph of all snakes. I mean, it's all evolutionary engineering that makes that given species survive and thrive. A lot cooler than morphs, to me.

Now, on with the pics of your hoggie...

Just save your money, but before you get anymore snakes, I would focus on getting some other equipment for your snakes, and having some side money incase of an emergency.

Well I was planning on saving up money I get and money I get on my bday so I'll have money for the expo and I'll buy all the items I will need for my snakes at home then if I have any left over money I can put that toward another Hog.
