    Rack paint questions

I recently built a rack for two serilite 32 quart tubs with the locking lids. I painted it with rustoleum oil based paint. It has come to my attention that this is a bad paint to use. My question is can i just spray over it with a water based paint or will the fumes from the oil based paint still leak through. Also will i run in to any issues with the heat from the UTH I will be running?

    Thanks,
    Soulo

    Re: Rack paint questions

being that I used to be a painter, if you used oil based paint and then paint over it with a latex or anything else other than an oil based paint it will just evetually just chip off and you'll have to paint it again
