New little guy to the family

Today I took in my Black & White Cali King snake to a reptile store and with the money I got from the King I put it to a Western Hognose and my mom paid the extra money I needed to get it with substrate and food (already have a 10 gallon enclosure, a hide, a water dish, thermometer, heat lamp, a climbing stick for climbing and basking on, and a fake plant at home). He's a tiny little guy, and pretty cute :]. I'll get pics probably on Tuesday, just to let him get used to his enclosure now and his surroundings. So excited that I got him today xD

Definitely not. I had two King snakes, the one that is sick is my Mexican Black that I currently have right now but the one I traded in is a Black & White Cali which is perfectly healthy and I've never had any problems with him. He's also been one of my best eaters.

are you sure its wise to be making another acquisition considering you just had a problem coming up with the money for a vet visit for your other snake?

Well, it actually will cost less to provide food and shelter for the new snake I purchased since it's pretty small and I will have no problem caring for it. I had money problems trying to make money for the visit, but my mom helped me out. My mom also helped me out with getting this new snake. She normally purchases the food items, and since she puts her money into getting those food items I have to do chores for her such as cleaning the house, doing dishes, laundry, and things such as that which seems like a pretty good deal to me. I don't really mind cleaning at all, I find it pretty simple.

Ya I did have some issues with that King who did not like me much lmao. He always struck at me. The guy at the reptile store held the King like it was nothing, and the King didn't ever go into striking position or shake his tail. I was like How did you do that?? I could never do that lmao. And I'm so glad you got those hets!! Can't wait until you breed em' I bet huh :]? Are they babies?
