    OMGZz lost snake sticky?

I see this situation frequently in the bp husbandry forum. Someone loses a bp, and is asking for tips on how to find it. It might be easier for someone to refer them to a sticky with everything they need to know rather than repeating it. I've seen stickies for just about everything care-related, just not this.

I don't have the know how or the experience to write one, but I was wondering if anyone does and has the time to type something up. There's a ton of different tricks I know, so maybe members could add them In the sticky thread.

    Just an idea.

    Re: OMGZz lost snake sticky?

Thats a good idea! What if we all post things we know about finding lost snakes and it will pile up and be a good source torefer people to?

    Lets try and start one:

Put flour around the baseboards in the room you think the snake could be inside, this way you can see where it went.

Close the door to the room you think the snake could be inside of; if there is a gap under the door, plug it up tightly with towels.

Search the darkest, warmest places in your house i.e. under a refridgerator, under a cable box (they tend to get warm), ect...

now its your turn! post some of your methods hope this works out!

Set up a UTH and a prey item on it to lure the snake out.

Put crumpled paper and plastic bags scattered on the floor so you can hear if the snake slithers into one.

    Disassemble house.
