    Wow
    This is gonna suck.
That irresponsible snake owner/parent in florida brought us all into this.
I guess its time to deal with it AGAIN.

I guess this means that we're going to have to step up and take responsibility--like he said, that included making sure that any animals we keep are kept properly and safely, and making sure that others who keep the animals are also kept properly and safely. I guess it's time to start writing letters to congressmen again! I have every faith that this community as a whole will pull together and defeat HR 2811.

    To ballpythonlover
We are not going to give away our pythons..
We just won't be able to buy, breed, or sell them anymore(if it passes)
But that little girl being killed by that burm in florida was the fuel in the fire here.
It will be much harder for us to stop it from passing because of that damn owner in florida.

Ya that was so stupid of that person to not have the proper enclosure and he didn't even have a license to keep the snake. I'm just worried because I really don't want to lose my female.. she's the sweetest snake I've ever had. I'll fight hard to not let this pass because no herper wants to stop the love for pythons.

Am I crazy? or are there two bills that are exactly the same going on as of right now, with different names? look,
    http://www.reptilechannel.com/reptil...ython-ban.aspx

    http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h2811/show

    WTF?

Re: UH OH! Government is at it again.

    The full text,
    S.373
    http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-373

    H.R.2811
    http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-2811

Are these different? They have the same title, "A bill to amend title 18, United States Code, to include constrictor snakes of the species Python... "

I'm confused. I sense something fishy.
