Shipping mulitple snakes.
I'm going through shipyourreptiles.com and I was wondering how I would ship multiple snakes? I would much prefer to now have to ship each individually. If you know how many snakes can go in which boxes, ect, that would be great.
2.1 Pastels - ED, George, Ailia.
1.0 '08 Poss. Het Albino - Norm
0.1 Proven Normal - Ragani
On the way IE when I have the money:

Depends on how big your box is and how big your snakes are.

I'm more wondering if its kosher to ship multiple snakes in one of their kits? I've got 8 snakes to ship ranging between small '08 females, to breeder size females.

My question is did you ever figure out how to ship those snakes...we have a bp thats 1700 grams, 800 grams and 4 more that range from 350 - 600 grams all need to be shipped to same place so how do we go about shipping 6 fairly goodsized snakes?

Frenzy, you probably won't get a reply from bleeper as the thread is from 2009. I'm sure others may chime in, but this website seems pretty popular to get your answers from: http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/ Robin from that site usually puts up advice when she's on.

You can ship multiple animals per box, not a problem.
Larger snakes typically go in a bag. The prime consideration in this example is the 1700 gram snake. Putting a bunch of bagged snakes weighing 350-800 grams together in a box is easy, no one animal is going to smash the others. The larger animal at 1700 is a different story.
Animals under 500 grams or so I would probably put in individual deli cups, try the 6.75" cups. That will give them more structural protection from the heavier bagged animals in the box.
As for box size, I think the #4 size would be about right, 16x16x8". Will fit the delis on the bottom, bagged animals over the top and side, with plenty of crumpled newspaper to provide cushioning and prevent any shifting.
Feel free to contact us directly for more specific help, thanks! Info@ShipYourReptiles.com
