My female leucistic rat laid 8 eggs, and out of the 8, 1 was NOTa slug. The only good one was founf too late....squished, shriveled, and cold. I'm soo disappointed. I was hoping for baby leucies this year.... I do however, have a question. I saved many of the "bad" eggs, because they are hard, and seemed to become (calcified?) almost liike stone. What causes them to do that? This has never happened to me before. I figured the "stone eggs" would be a neat educational tool to show the kids.
