Hr 2811
After seeing the info on kingsnake about the hearing ( posted in this thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=94978), I went to nohr669.com to see if there was any additional or different information there. There is nothing there (yet) about the hearing, but I found this instead:

HR 2811 is a bill introduced to the house of representatives that is close to, if not exactly the same as, S 373, and is attempting to get ALL species of python declared injurious.
Here is more info about it:

Re: Hr 2811
Why? Why does the government try to stick their noses into issues they know nothing about? Why are they trying to ban ALL pythons when only one or two species pose a possible threat to humans and the environment? Why lump every single python together because of issues that are isolated to a species and a state? How can we stop their ingnorance and stupidity about pythons?
