New Blog!
I have been feverishly working to get our new blog up and running, as I wanted it to be able to publish our Clutch Record. I think I have something that will provide us with a good start, but I have a feeling I will be tweaking it some more in time. I hope to have it fully operational by the end of the weekend, but I wanted to put up a link for my BP.net brothers and sisters. My main objective here was to get some advice on what everyone here thought and maybe even some suggestions, before I link it to the website. As of now, there are no links to this blog outside of the one below.

Let me know what you think.

Looks good Tim
I love blogs like this; especially when they are updated frequently. Maybe I'm a weirdo but I would have liked to have seen what the weights of those clutches were too
I get some weird enjoyment out of viewing the total weight of the clutch and how it compares to avg weight per egg.

Thanks Rich. I do keep the data on the clutch weight and average egg weight. However, I do publish that data annually on a thread here on BP.net. I could put it on the clutch record, but I think for now I will leave it off, as I would prefer to keep the Clutch record page clean, and I think all of the extra data may clutter it a bit too much. I may try to put some oddities in there though, such as excessively large eggs/hatchlings or really small eggs/hatchlings. I think I will put the results of some strange egg behaviors as well. (i am currently doing a study for another forum, but will post the results here as well, as soon as I get more data).

Thanks for the input. However, I haven't actually taken a picture of any of my girls on eggs this year. Sometimes you have to put a limit on time requirements. I simply don't have time to take and process all of those pictures. I will be posting pics of interesting things (i.e. cool hatchlings or interesting egg data on the blog).

To bad.... Pics are always cool... but I can understand not having the time. I only have four 08' girls and am looking to add a couple of males this year with the hopes that they will all be ready to breed next season. So I couldn't imagine trying to manage all the clutches you have going. Maybe some day.

Re: New Blog!
I'm a fan of those data threads. Your idea about the oddities sounds like a good compromise. I can only imagine the time constraints you deal with so its completely understandable.
