    Here We Grow Again!!!

    So with all the animals we added this year and all the planned holdback's our rat production is having to double in the next 3-5 months ..

    With that being said we decided to build a rat barn.. YEEEEEEYYAAA no more rats in the snake room YAAAAAAAYYY..

    So with out further a due

    Thanks it helps that you have an inactive 24 year old Marine and a 30+ year industrial contractor doing the manual labor.. i.e my father (the guy that keeps me from over spending at Daytona) and brother (our newly aquired rat man).. I'll get some more pics as things progress.

    It makes things so much easier..that's for sure..It's more work but I don't pay 2.50 a rat to feed 70+ snakes a week.. I spend in two months on bedding and food what I would on two weeks of having to buy rats.

    Looks good!
    I think I will start breeding my own snake food one day also.
    If I can weasel through this crappie time for the economy. My wife and I plan to build on a lot that we purchased in january of 08. At our new home, I plan on having a nice shop with an office/herp room.
    Let us see some finished pics soon.
