Growth rate?

I've had my snake for about 3years now. When I bought it was a juvenile I think. It was small but not a hatchling. So it's actual age is a little over 3years old too. The first year I had it, it was growing quick. It shed about every 8weeks on average and I could see a considerable size increase.

Now it's shedding about every 4months on average. Is it reaching it's peak of growth? it's about 34inches long right now and eating full grown/large mice once every 7-10days.

About what age do they stop growing and how much larger can I expect my snake to grow. Should I be feeding it more often now that its larger or switch to rats even?

they have a large ball python at the pet shop were I buy my supplies at. Mine is like half the size of that one!

Ball pythons have major growth within the first 3 years of life; you will see the most dramatic growth spurts during this time. After 3 years they continue to grow but at a much slower rate. Most people prefer feeding rats and if your snake could make the switch I would personally do so; but after three years of feeding on mice it may be hooked on them. You want to feed 10-15% of the snakes body weight every week. Some people keep their adults on a 10 day as opposed to weekly feeding.
