    Need help from vet asap?

    Hi ,I have a female het ghost thats gravid as we speak but has a respiratory infection.I have access to fortaz and syrenges but don't know the concentration to give.Can someone please guide me as far as mg/gram.She weighs 1520 grams.Also how many total shots are given and at what frequency..thanks Hector

    Your reptile vet should be able to give you that info. Medical information as far as prescription medications shouldn't be given out on a forum, for liability reasons.

    On top of that the vet may want to wait till they lay their eggs depending on how close they are to laying..

    Well i found out that her dose would be 30.4 mg every 72 hrs based on 20mg/kg.....She weighs 1520 grams.My things is how many doses are usually given .

    Freakie she hasn't had she pre-lay shed but i did witness ovualtion,so it has to be way before she lays.

    Back when I had a burm she came down with an RI, vet gave her one shot and that was the end of it. But I'm not a vet nor do I know what he gave her, so it might just be different for your situation possibly based on the severity of the RI.
