    um...high humidity...problem

so my humidity is @ 65% How can I bring it down to 50-60% I have a water bowl in the tank. When I bring that out it is 59%. I have aluminum foil on half the lid. I would like to keep that on to retain heat

Try a smaller water bowl, or take some of the foil off lid.

don't worry so much. Humidity is fine. Just don't let it get to low.

Like we talked about, its more than likely the humid weather down there in Florida.

As long as your enclosure is clean, and your little snakey isn't sitting in it's own poo or pee, a little humidity spike here and there isn't going to hurt him

yea the same as everyone else says; as long as the substrate isn't too moist you should be fine to avoid scale rot.

If you find your snake is having problems shedding just add a moist hide; I use an old ice cream tub with a hole in the side full of semi moist coco-fibre (I "wring" out the moisture until I can clump it in my hand and either none or only 1 drops of water drip out)and moist sphagnum moss in the bottom to kep the moisture. My snake has used his moist hide to shed everytime since I added the hide.

Sounds fine to me. They won't get scale rot from high humidity. They might get an RI but that is like constant 99% humidity. 60-65% is perfectly fine.
