    Talking My new pied

Hi everyone, I just figured out how to post pics and I wanted everyone to see my new 08 pied. I think he is soooo beautiful, we named him Patch

    Re: My new pied

Yes he is tinier than he should be. He was advertised as an 8/08 baby that weighed 200g but when he came in he was 94g. I was very upset about this...but the breeder kept on insisting that he was over 200g and that my scale wasn't professional enough. BUT he is pounding rat pups like no tomorrow and I am sure he will be over 200g soon. I am just glad that he seems very healthy and has eaten for me every time....if not I would've sent him back.

    Awesome little pied!

I wouldn't purchase from that breeder again though, my ass that is a 200g snake. Oh well, the sweet pattern on that little fella make up for it.

I agree, there is no way that snake is nine months old. My smallest 08 is over 500 grams and my largerst is around 800 grams. Either way, great looking pied.

    Re: My new pied

Yea I'll NEVER buy from that breeder again. If he was honest about the weight, I probably would've still bought Patch because I think he is beautiful. I DO NOT like being called a liar, I have a scale which magically works for my other snakes....I guess just for Patch it was wrong I am not that much of newb that I don't know about snake weights and sizes, I have snakes from 50g hatchlings all the way up to 2000+g monsters lol There were other issues too involving this transaction that made it just a big headache for me. I am just glad that its over with, I have Patch, he's healthy and he eats great

He is a very nice pied!

Perhaps the breeder is the one who has a scale that isn't professional enough?
