    Built a new rat rack

Built my first rack rack. Got the plans for south texas reptiles forum or something like that. Going to try the arb rat rack plans out next. Took me a while to build, but now that I know how to do it I'm sure my other racks will be built faster. I have a 1.7 in the tubs at the moment. I'm thinking its gonna end up being too crowded, but the breeder i got the rats from said it's ok. I don't know. I really do like the watering system though. It's very cool and helps me out by not replacing water bowls every hour haha. Can't wait to build some more.

More support for the tub if you wanna pull it all the way out I guess. I only did what the directions told me to do.

Very nice. I'll have to go find those build instructions and get the hubby busy.

Re: Built a new rat rack

Giving your rats room and space is beneficial. Overcrowding leads to heightened stress (fighting, lower production), more ammonia which is very unhealthy, and definitely more concentrated stink in each tub.

When in doubt, give them more room.
