pitbulls can be great animals depending on how you raise them....i've seen a pit that still acts like a baby born he plays alot and licks everyone even though he never met them...he has never bark at anyone....but these monsters that shouldnt even be call humans make them like that and thats why they have a bad reputation...BTW im getting a blue pit-blue nose soon.....

So with what you posted main, could it be safe to say that in some cases of "pit bull attacks" they weren't actually pit bulls, just a similar looking dog maybe? Food for thought.

It breaks my heart to see videos like that knowing how loving the breed truly is. I'm happy because there are good people out there working towards ending dog fighting and abuse.

Our pit mix Toda (German Shorthaired Pointer/Pitt Bull), his brother Logan (Boston Terrier) and my sisters dog King (poodle/shi zu mix) are best friends and a lot of people would "assume" Toda would be mean to the little guys but he is very careful when he plays with them.

I had a Shi-tzu and 2 pits when my kids were younger, wish I could find the pic of my daughter crawling on my pit when she was 6 mos. old, she used to chew his ears when she was teething, he was so good with her.

I love APBTs. A lot of people think that because they were bred to be dog aggressive they were also bred to be aggressive towards humans. I've seen a LARGE quantity of Pits that don't even show dog aggression. It's all about how they're raised. Training and consistency always makes for a well behaved dog.....even a Pit Bull.

We had a male pit when I was a child..He was a puppy that was a rescue and one of the greatest dogs I have ever known..His favorite thing about kids was that their faces were are continent licking height..

My current dog is a Rottie. Who's 90lbs and energy of the two year old puppy he is can be intimidating...But when he meets a small child its as if he knows hes can be scary, He lays down and lets them come to him.

I'm a firm believer that breed has no more predestination on temperament that than eye color in humans make you more aggressive.

Pitbulls are my absolute favorite breed of dog!! When raised properly, I find they are the biggest, sweetest babies ever. And they smile!!Here is me with one of my pit babies. She is the runt of the liter. My heart!!

I know she looks demonic haha!! But it was a glare in her eyes...they are green tho!! ... and here is one of her with my other dog i used to have.

    I miss her
