    Q's new girly friend!

Tonight was definitely an interesting trip to PetCo for food for the bp's. We got there, walked around a bit and saw some adorable little "central american boas" they had in their cages (I think one was a hypo). We finally went up front to get the mice and there was a guy standing there getting mice also. Ash mentioned it was supper time for the balls and the man asked what we had, well we went through our list and he asked if we would be interested in a foster Colombian RTB. He mentioned she was free and came with a corner hexagon tank...we took about 5 seconds to think it over and decided YES! We followed the guy to his house to get her and when he brought her out of her tub Ash was handed a B-E-A-UTIFUL RTB. He mentioned she may be a little testy because she had recently made a trip from South Carolina to TN and was moody because of it, well she is a big sweetheart just like Q. He gave us the tub she was being kept in along with the corner tank. She is now in QT (our kitchen. lol) We are gonna give her the week of relative peace before we feed her (like usual), BUT I am gonna take her out tomorrow to take some pics like I took earlier today so ya'll will have to wait til then for pics. BTW, her name is Queen Zida...short for Ningizzida, an animal from Mesopotamian mythology.

She was a rescue. The guy used to have 9 rescue snakes but because of him having to move he also had to downgrade house size and snake collection so he elected to get rid of 5 and only keep 4. She was the last one he needed to get rid of and I guess no one wanted her. She looks fine with no mites or anything, just has a small scab on her nose that doesn't look serious.
