    Re: Tub sizes for BP

I think most people do ~15qt for babies, 27-32qt. for subadults, and 41-70qt. for adults. Small adults will do well in 41qts but that's a bit cramped for a big adult.

41qt is great for a female over 2,000 grams. Anything under that I would stick in a 32qt. Juveniles go in a 15qt.

    Re: Tub sizes for BP

We use shoebox size for hatchlings, 15 qt for juveniles, 32 qt for ones between 600 grams - 2000 grams and 40 qt for large adult females, 2000+ grams.

These are, of course, approximates. For example, sometimes getting a new 32 qt takes time so they may stay in a 15 qt longer. Remember, ball pythons like small dark places . . . .

i kept mt baby's in a 34 qt (just clutter it up) I using 40 qt tubs for anyone over 600 gramsd with ther hides I will use either 50 or the 66qt tub when they get over 2000 grams if they look like they cramp in the 40 when they out of the hides .
