    delaware changes regs for permits

I not heard if finalized yet but the dept of ag has propossed changes to Delaware regultaiond in regaurds to permits. The basic changes are now

No breeder permit ( meaning if you had one you can no longer breed) also means you must pay a permit for each reptile/mammal that not native to the state.

To sell animal such animals you need a business lic ( also if you brred to)

Each permit only good for 3 years and must be renewed.

TO someone like me that doing reptile removals and recue mean we are gettnig the shaft. more less my permit I got bakc in 1996 is worthless and on top of that for the 15 snakes in my care i would have to pay a 20+ fee per snake and repay it every 3 years. Being on disablity would mean i have to give up my snakes cause soem one getting greedy. It also mean I have to pay for a permit for every snake i rescue and then again ( the person ) who adopts it from me.

ANd this does not take into account the HR699 bill. so more less we all getting screwed by the furball lovers and phobia people...

Woah that's is crazy. EVERY non-native reptile or mammal??

The furry lovers are getting screwed there too buddy, every 6 year old with a hamster, gerbil, or guinea pig.. Just imagine it all. Heck i bet ferrets aren't native to Delaware either.

truwethe problem was the proposed changes were never posted until after the hearing. I only found out aabout it like 3 weeks ago which was way after the deadline.. SO I am pissed I guess they think everyone looking at the delaware web site every day. I know they got different regulations for each county in the state and they get stupider the father north you go. It soon be illegal to fart in your own home let alone own pets.
