Something white on her eye?

Well, i know i only have a cheap digital. It looks like a little sliver of white between her eye and the socket. Towards the back. It doesn't seem to bother her. She was acting funny today, and flipped her hide on top of her. I thought it was because it was facing the window and too much light was getting in.

From what i can tell from the picture my BP has something similar on top of her eye as opposed to the side like yours. She has had it since i got her, thought it was just left over skin from a bad shed, but over a year later it is still there, it has got a little less noticeable though.

I wouldn't be to worried about it, but I am also curios on exactly what it is, if not just extra skin

Does it move with her eye or always in exactly the same position?

Did she shed the eyecaps ok with her last shed? When was the last shed?

Does her eye look nice and clear?

Could be - not exactly something you want people to try and remove though. **shudder**

I also wondered if it could be the edge of the skin round a retained spectacle or even just the same bit of skin pulled outwards during the shedding of the old spectacle?

I always get really nervous working near eyes - even my own.

It's gone now. It might have been some shaving of Aspen, maybe? I'll keep an eye on it though and if it returns for more than a day, it's time to see the doctor.

It didn't move with the eye. Her last shed was last Tuesday, and yes i seen the eye caps in the shed. Maybe it was just some leftovers. Her eyes are nice and clear. She seemed to remove it herself. If it returns I'll consult the vet. It might be more serious if it keeps happening.
