Re: On a blogtalk radio show about hr669 tonight

    Great job, Brian!

I'm glad you mentioned how nearly all the harmful invasive species come in from foreign trade in ballast water, and in cargo. I think that is the single most important aspect of invasive species legislation, and I wrote my own letter that made that point the main topic. I also mentioned how feral domestic cats do more harm to native wild life than all other non-native species combined.

I'm also glad you touched on the extremist groups and their lobbies. I'd like to see a full list of these organizations made public so we can all be sure to stop donating the billions of dollars every year that they use to attack our pets, instead of using the money to save all the cute baby seals and the Labrador puppies with a single tear rolling down their cheeks, like their images imply. I think if more people knew about www.petakillsanimals.com, and about the true agendas of the rest of these psudo-animal-loving organizations, their funding would be in the hundreds instead of the billions, and groups like PIJAK would start to receive the funding they should be getting.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

Thanks! I agree it's amazing how many people domate to these organizations in the name of whats "good" for animals and then their money goes to stop the pet trade. her's the major players on that list:
    HSUS ( Humaine Society US)
    PETA
    Defenders of Wildlife
    Sierra Club
    World Wildlife Fund
    National Audubon Society
    National Wildlife Federation
    Nature Conservancy
    Big Cat Resque

Thes are on the front lines fighting everyday to stop the entire pet trade. Do some reasearch and you'll be shocked. Thanks again for all the support! Brian(BHB)

I wonder if Petco and Petsmart have gotten involved in fighting HR669? You would think they would be some of the forerunners in this and that they would have some power behind them.

I believe that some of their executives are on the Pijac board of directors.

Yes they are ... Ken Hall from PetSmart and Kevin Whelan from PetCo are both on the board of the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC).

Both Ken and Kevin are Executives within their respective companies and are working every day at the National political level to stop HR 669.

HR 669 is truly being attacked on all fronts.

    Hope this helps.

Thats awesome to hear, thanks. I just haven't seen anything at their stores or on their websites. I've been mailing letters and sending e-mails like crazy... hope we can make a difference!

I also want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the effort and hard work being done!!! I'm so impressed!!
