    What should I get???

What type of tree boa should I get??? I am looking to get one that stays pretty small, and also one that is docile! I have a really dump question, they arent poisons are they???

Does anyone know a good site to do research, and also some good breeders, and some places that have good cages

Mike Heinrich, his website is www.boakingdom.com. He is one of the best in the amazon business, and im proud to call him a friend of mine. I suggest you do a little research before jumping into these types of animals, they arent venemous but they do bite!!! Im not really up to speed on the madascar version of the tree boa, if you decide to go that route. Good luck with your search, again i cannot stress enough that these animals are not docile, some are easy going after awhile, and tolerate some handling, but some do not.

Tree boas and pythons are some of the most unforgiving species of snakes you can get. I suggest a lot of research and you know BP.net is all about learning. Post up questions.

Well how much are you looking to spend? Maybe a Green Tree Python? Amazon Tree Boa. Depends on what your willing to spend. Hopefully you know this snakes are not for handling so why would you care if it's really docile?

    Re: What should I get???

the choice is ultimately up to you, just do your research. ATB's are no joke. there actually quite a handful to take care of require a little bit more advanced care husbandry wise. and be prepared to get bitten multiple times. I can handle mine. but there is still the odd day that the snake hook has to come out because she tries to bite what ever moves. its just there temperament.

    Re: What should I get???

I suggest getting a puppy. lol. Decisions about what to get are only to be made by the future owner. If it were up to me I would tell everyone to get everything lol.
