    My ATB

He kicked around up top long enough to snap a pic. Of course I got the idea to take it after I misted his enclosure.

LOL I think the water just woke him up. He's never had a go at me, but i'm always extra careful with him......those teeth are getting big

    Re: My ATB

Thanks, John. He's a cool dude. When he eats I can see his teeth pretty well and i'm not looking forward to taking a bite that's for sure. The day I bought him I carried him around the shop for over and hour and a half with no bites. He's a bit more defensive now that he is settled in to his new tank, but I honestly think he's more curious than he is aggressive. Never strikes at all.

He seems very happy, and very placid in his enclosure, so great job on tending him. I know that they get very huge teeth, he looks very healthy. How long is he?

Thanks, Neal. He's probably pushing the 3ft mark. He's always been a pretty decent eater, and i've always had him on a weekly schedule. I never wanted to over feed to avoid regurg and it seems like it has worked okay so far. If nothing else, he's pretty to look at and fun to watch cruise around at night.

Once a week is great for ATBs. You shouldn't have an issue at all, unless you feed them oversized prey.

He's a beautiful little dude, by the way! Is he a sexed male?
