    Pimp My Wooden Shoes

    Hi,

So I got myself some good ol' Dutch wooden shoes... Instead of leaving them the woody color they are, I'm pimpin' them.

So I just finished applying a glossy layer of purple. My plan was to get "oriental" designs in gold marker... But I'm not sure.

Anybody got any ideas what I can do with them? Extra colors, designs, words, whatever. Any input would be appreciated. I'll post photos tomorrow!

    Thanks,
    MH

Mike.. I like the idea, but I'm sorry, not feelin' the love.

I'm too late with taking pictures of the "before"

They were just regular wood color, and I'll take pictures tomorrow, starting with them being purple.

Sounds like a neat idea! There are a ton of ideas that come to my mind; polka dots, stripes, crazy colors, plaid. Wow! I would probably paint a little Holland scene on the side of them; windmills, etc.

    Hi,

Sorry it took so long... I finally got my (sister's) lazy butt to work.

I spray painted them purple, she did the designs.

BJ stands for Boer Jan --> Farmer John, the guy who made these clogs.

Thanks, and tell me what you think,
