    RTB Help Please!

So, I bought a RTB yesterday from a ‘mom and pop’ pet store and today I noticed that it has a running nose and it’s been constantly doing something that looks like stargazing since yesterday evening. The pet store only has a 5 day guarantee and I’m not sure if the boa has a RI or if it’s just something to do with settling down. I don’t know if I should just bring it back or take it to the vet. Any opinions on what I should do?

    Hi,

You mentioned it making a noise in another thread - like a kitten mewing I think.

All in all it sounds like an RI to me - but only a vet could tell you for definate.

Yeah, it is making that kind of noise, but I read an article that said it might be making that noise because its stressed out so I wasn't sure if it was related or not. Any ideas on whether or not I should bring it back to the store?

    Re: RTB Help Please!

No matter what it sounds like or may "stargaze" like, what you should do is bring it to you local veterinarian. Or if you are unable, for whatever reason, Then contact the owner for a "replacement".
I can advise that (Now I started off my working carreer in the pet industy) That the "batch" you may have gotten your baby from is the same batch you will have a replacement from. All in all understand that vet care is always number one in herp care (In general).
It sounds like your new little baby may need some help..
    Thanks

Thanks for your help. I'm going to see if I can get it an appointment later on this week if I am able to. What I should do until I can get it to a vet?

Keep it hot and lower the humidity a little bit.
