Lone Star Expo (Arlington, TX)

Does anyone here know anyone associated with this show? I attended a few of them last year and am planning to go the last weekend of this month. After being dragged to NARBC in February, my husband's sisters began to see what they feel is an untapped market in the pet industry...cute stuff and accessories for reptiles and their owners (in addition to amphibians and arachnids). They have make a lot of things and have made multiple attempts to contact the Lone Star Expo folks in hopes of securing a table, but thus far no response. I was hoping that perhaps someone here might be able to help. Was even wondering if the show was still going to take place.

Coincidentally, they are having the same problem regarding the June show in Oklahoma City. My husband and I are planning on going there because we have friends there and love staying at the Biltmore (they have THREE bars). My sisters-in-law can't get in touch with those folks either What gives I wonder? Has anyone ever been to that show and is it any good?

Oh well...whether they are able to set up their table or not, I'm going to the shows. Hope to see some of y'all there!

In the meantime, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Give Otis a call at Pet Snake Snacks. I found two different phone numbers for them. I don't know which is current. (214) 742-6899 or (214) 769-3037. He is one of the organizers for the Arlington show. He should be able to help you with a contact for the OKC show as well.

edit - oh, the OKC show is kinda small. Sometimes good though. Occasionally Bob Clark and Mike Wilbanks are there which I guess helps to create a draw for the show.

Thanks! Funny you should suggest Pet Snake Snacks as a possible contact because that's exactly what I told my sister-in-law to do! I told her they were ALWAYS there and would surely know who to get in touch with. Anyway, they ended up getting tables for both days this weekend and in OKC.

Is anyone else going to Arlington this weekend?
